Module -2 Vowels

Course Description: This course is all about the Vowel sounds. The skills you learn here will be the foundation for enhancing your pronunciation of the English language. This training will help you sound out the vowels to help you sound less native to your country, thus making it easier for your American listener to understand and comprehend what you say. How and what you say makes the difference in perfecting your English communication skills!

Skills you will learn

We will cover the 5 vowels letters and the 15 vowels sounds that are typically challenging for the nonnative speaker
You will listen to a sample sound or word that is the correct way
Repeat the sound or word twice in your natural pronunciation
Compare yourself to the correct soundPractice repeating the sound and shaping your mouth in a new way by viewing the diagrams of the proper mouth position to make the sound American
We will cover a large list of vowels and associated words
Additionally, vowel sounds that are often difficult to distinguish will be discussed and practiced
